Guess what Reader!
My business officially has a shiny new visual brand AND a home on the internet! My website is live!
If I can be vulnerable with you and share a little real talk, February was a short and challenging month for me.
My bank account in January told me that I had a successful month. My bank account in February is singing a slightly different tune.
The funny thing is, I still got new business in February.
But because the tangible money collected was less than what it was in January - because I feel short, according to the goal I set for myself in February - my brain wanted to tell me that I failed.
It sounded sirens and sent smoke signals to warn me and to protect me from traveling down a path of unknown and uncertainty.
So the most important lesson I've learned in business is to flip the script and focus on all the things that DID get accomplished this month.
Just because the financial return I was aiming for wasn't reflected in the books this month, it doesn't mean that it isn't in motion and on it's way.
Let me show you the DIY I was working with before my professional branding overhaul.
There are a lot of places where I'll need to incorporate the new and improved brand. This newsletter being one of them. So a new look is on it's way!
In the meantime, if you're curious about who's responsible for my branding (which I'm absolutely obsessed with!), you should totally check out Amanda Guerassio. You can follow her on Instagram here and you can check out her website here.
(p.s. I was fortunate enough to write the copy for her website 🙃)
Maria Moore is also a great person to know as a brand and visibility coach! She can help you upgrade your DIY branding game and branding confidence. You can check out her free Facebook group here.
Other than that, you should check out my new website! I'd love to hear your thoughts! You can just click on this button riigghhttttt HERE! 🥰

So guilty, but I bet I'm not alone Isn't it so crazy how we all can get really get sucked into the weeds of our own business?! Like so much so, that you actually end up self-sabotaging your productivity. Has this ever happened to you? Because it sure happens to me. Actually, it happens to me A LOT. 🥴 Something will come up in my business and out of nowhere - my brain wants to waaayyy overthink it. So I get anxious and stressed out trying to figure out this onnnne thing in my business and...
"New people are looking at your profile." Hi Reader! Every once in awhile I get an email from LinkedIn with a subject line that says something along the lines of "People are taking interest in your profile" or "Check out who is looking at your profile." Do you get those emails too? At this point in time, I'm not super active on LinkedIn for my business so I always chuckle a little when I see this email come through. Here's two important things you can take away from these LinkedIn emails....
Any special weekend plans? Hi there Reader! We are just a few days away from Valentine's day. You'll have to email me and let me know if you are a fan of V-Day or if it's nothing special for you. Personally for me - I'm a fan! I love any reason to celebrate! Not that I need an excuse to show my loved ones a little love, but life gets busy, so I like that there's a little reminder in the calendar to appreciate the important people in my life. There's a take out special from our favorite...
